Education:

In 2005 he graduated with honors from the Zhekovsky National Aerospace University "Kharkiv Aviation Institute" with a degree in "Computer Systems and Networks" and received a qualification of a research engineer.

From September 1, 2013 to August 30, 2016 he worked as a senior lecturer at the Department of Computer Systems and Networks.

From September 1, 2005 to August 30, 2009 Boyarchuk AV studied in correspondence graduate school.

On June 6, 2012 he successfully defended his dissertation for the degree of candidate of technical sciences in specialty 05.13.06 - information technology. The topic of the dissertation is "Models, method and information technology of choosing the means of ensuring the reliability of web-services".

 

Research interests:

  • Blockhain-based solutions for B2B sector;
  • System research ensuring dependability, fault- and intrusion tolerance in distributed systems;
  • Developing technics and models for efficient academic-industry cooperation in ICT sector;
  • Green computing and communications.

 

Internship:

Dr. Artem Boyarchuk has led or has been involved in a number of projects with the Ukrainian industry, European universities and industries (Royal Institute of Technology KTH/Sweden, University of Newcastle upon Tyne/UK, Leeds University/UK, City University London/UK, Tallinn University of Technology/Estonia, Otto-von-Guericke University Matdeburg/Germany.

During 2013-2015 he has acted as Ukrainian coordinator of Swedish-funded networking projects “Capacity Building and Curriculum Reform in Safety IT-Engineering” and “InnoValueNet: Transnational network for enabling climate for creativity and innovation”.

During 2006-2016 he has been involved in the preparation and implementation of a series of EU TEMPUS Projects: MASTAC (http://www.mastac.org.ua), SAFEGUARD (http://www.safeguard.org.ua), GREENCO (http://my-greenco.eu/), CABRIOLET (http://www.my-cabriolet.eu), ALIOT (www.aliot.eu.org) between National Aerospace University (Ukraine), Newcastle University (UK), City University (UK), Åbo Akademi University (Finland), University of Naples Federico II, Napoli (Italy), Royal Institute of Technology (Sweden), University of Coimbra (Portugal) etc.

 

Social activities: 

He is one of the co-organizers of the university competition of innovation KhAI Innovate 2018 and KhAI Innovate 2020. On a voluntary basis Boyarchuk A.V. is the coordinator of academic cooperation of the National Aerospace University named after ME Zhukovsky "Kharkiv Aviation Institute" and British universities on the program of double diplomas.
