Dear Friends!

Current advances in data gathering and analysis, wireless and mobile communications are opening up new possibilities for smart building technologies. Compatibility, flexibility, dynamics, efficiency and cost-savings are the key benefits expected from them. They are also supposed to make our buildings more Intelligent (Smart, High Performance, Net Zero, Living Future) and more green.

All of mentioned form the positive vision of smart buildings, but we must know more about it. What about challenges for smart automation, security threats, risk, etc.?

To handle these issues we invite you to attend the meeting of International Student Safety&Security Club (ISSSC).

It will be held on Wednesday, 29.10.14, 16 pm, room 132 (KhAI campus, building of radiotechnical faculty).

Our topic: The Security challenges for smart building.

  2. Ahmed Waleed, KhAI master student, with topic: Physical security threats on smart buildings, Iraq as an example.
