National Aerospace University "KhAI"

Department of Computer Systems and Networks (503)

Centre for Safety Infrastructure-Oriented Research and Analysis

Dear Friends!

Information and communication technologies have significantly changed the way I&C systems are operating. I&Cs are challenged by new threats and exposed to new risks.

Do we know what the main I&C safety&security challenges are?

How shall we treat them? Are there any spaces where I&C systems are safe?

To handle these issues we invite you to attend the open meeting of International Student Safety&Security Club (ISSSC).

It will be held on Wednesday, 25.09.13, 16-00, room 132 (KhAI, Radiobuilding, Department of Computer Systems and Networks).

Our topic: Safety and Security challenges for computer-based systems: More questions….more answers

Our agenda

1. Fredrik Asplund, PhD student, ICES, Royal Institute of Technology, KTH, Sweden, topic: Safety Challenges in the Era of Cyber-Physical Systems (e-conference)

2. Monie Rinda, Computer Engineering, KhAI student, topic: The information technologies impact on I&C small modular reactors (SMR): future trends analysis

3. Bolaji Hamzat, Computer Engineering, KhAI student, topic: Smart power grid and NPP interaction: future safety&security challenges

Discussion

See you, ISSSC coordinator Brezhnev E.V.
